As an editor, you will help generate ideas and formulate stories with your reporting colleagues as well as freelancers and give those stories an initial edit. You will help freelance and staff reporters in New York and Atlanta localize our national stories and help identify those local stories that could be suitable for KFF Health News's national audience. You will be responsible for ensuring they also produce a mix of stories, and you will work with the production team to make sure the stories have graphics and photo assignments and with the copy desk and publication partners to address any questions.
