POSITION: Marketing and Business Applications Instructor
REPORTS TO: Director of High School
STARTING DATE: August 13, 2024
SALARY: TBD
WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time (185 Day Contract)
Monday thru Friday / 7:30 am to 3:00 pm
JOB OBJECTIVE:
Auburn Career Center is currently seeking a qualified Marketing and Business Applications Instructor to provide quality instruction to students by ensuring student satisfaction through classroom or lab settings according to the program objectives. Participates in school retention initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc. Motivates students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process. Completes professional development and in-service activities in accordance with college standards. Maintains expertise in subject area and recommends improvements in curriculum design. Instructs students in laboratory safety procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- The successful candidate will have motivational and leadership skills that assist 11th-12th grade career and technical students as they prepare for a career
- Proficient level of knowledge with lesson planning, classroom management techniques, lesson delivery models, project based learning, advanced communication skills with advisory members and other activities related to Business Management Tech
- Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, the internet and management system software
- Applicant must have 5 years of experience working in the marketing and/or business industry
