NATURE AND SCOPE:

The Biomolecular Assemblies and Nanomechanics Lab in the Chemical Engineering Department at Howard University (PI: Preethi Chandran) is looking for postdoctoral fellows interested in investigating the biophysics of virus transmission. Students with backgrounds in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and with a zeal for finding cost-effective and holistic approaches to reducing population vulnerability are encouraged to contact the PI at preethi.chandran@howard.edu

 

In addition to investigative research, the postdoctoral researcher will engage in lab management, rigorous data management, mentoring, professional networking, persuasive writing, and science communication.
