Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute and help implement improvements to test plans. Provide feedback to customers on modifications, outcomes, or issues.
- Helps select specialized test equipment and performs set-up, as well as loading and running complex programs or builds.
- Perform complex calibration, maintenance, and upgrades of test equipment and tools according to standards and procedures.
- Identify issues with test equipment and perform complex repairs.
- Manage execution of test methodologies for various technologies, adapting established procedures based on unique testing needs, and document results.
- Identify, debug, and troubleshoot complex testing issues or failures, recommend root causes, and implement solutions.
- Conduct and manage analyses, gather information to identify where an issue has occurred, and make recommendations for how to address the issue.
- Collaborate with individuals inside and outside of own function to integrate projects and/or ensure changes work with other components of a specific project.
- Communicate across teams to provide status updates, information about impending obstacles, and suggest remediation.
- Manage team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for small to mid-sized projects with minimal guidance.
- Re-scope projects, identify resources, delegate work, and review the work of team members to address changing timelines or priorities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist test engineers in test labs with the installation, implementation, and loading of internal test setups and scripts for mobile handset device software testing.
- Maintain test bench equipment and environment, troubleshoot, maintain, and monitor test setups in product test labs.
- Report issues to leads or use standard department systems and software bug tracking databases (e.g., Jira) as needed.
- Help engineers and technical leads resolve issues, which may require reproducing issues, debugging, and running special test software and builds.
Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Required: 3+ years of testing, measurement, or related work experience
