Position Summary:

The Legal Contracts Coordinator will support the Legal Department and will work under the guidance of the Senior Director, Corporate Counsel & Contract Operations, Legal in support of the contract operations for the organization. This position will have the responsibility to provide system support for the contract management system, participate in and support various aspects of the contracting process, and provide general administrative legal support for the Legal Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and navigate organizational contract process flow.
  • Review, analyze and update contract records within contract management system
  • Update and maintain contract renewals and expirations.
  • Collaborate with the Legal Contracts team to ensure accurate, complete, and timely processing and archival of contracts.
  • Administer the contract signature process according to Travere's policies.
  • Provide general contract management system support and maintenance; generate reports as needed,
  • Provide support to internal customers with navigation of the contract management system.
  • Liaise with contract management system vendor to address issues reported by internal users.
  • Recognize matters needing attention or escalation and initiate action by communicating to appropriate colleagues and/or manager to drive resolution.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities as requested such as calendaring, printing, scanning, filing, copying, ordering supplies, and shipping documents.
  • Submit requests for purchase orders on behalf of the Legal Department; reconcile and submit Legal Department expense reports.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings on behalf of the Legal Department, onsite and offsite, including meeting space and services (food, beverage, and audio/visual).
  • Periodic support with travel arrangements.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
  • Minimum one year complex administrative experience within a corporate or law firm environment, preferably in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Understand and effectively use Microsoft Office Suite and other business specific software.
  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize contract management software and strong knowledge of DocuSign. Knowledge of Agiloft highly desired.
  • Experience in dealing with strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.

  • Excellent customer service and collaboration skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

  • All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Compensation: Our competitive compensation package includes a combination of both cash compensation (base pay and short-term incentive) and long-term incentive compensation (company stock), designed to recognize, retain, and reward employees.

Target Base Pay Range:

$57,000.00 - $72,000.00
