Job Description

The School of Accountancy in the College of Business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking to hire a full-time instructor to teach in accounting beginning August 2024. The individual selected will work in the School to teach four undergraduate and/or graduate courses per semester while also assisting with the service mission of the Department and College. Potential courses may vary depending on department needs. An individual with the ability to teach financial accounting, auditing, and data analytics is preferred.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in accounting or a closely related field.
  • A demonstrated commitment to supporting student learning and developmental experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A professional certification in accounting, such as the CPA or CMA.

 

 
Preferred Qualifications
  • University-level teaching experience in accounting.
  • Professional work experience in accounting.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Commitment to collegiality and a demonstrated ability to work as part of an effective and collaborative team member.
