Job Description
Mid-Level Test Engineer needed for a contract to hire opportunity with SOC's client to work in San Diego, CA.
Active Secret Clearance is required!

Responsibilities
- Author and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product requirements are met
- Ensure complete and timely reporting on bugs and test results
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Write test documentation and help finalize all system and software documentation CDRLs for the program
- Familiarity working on programs using the Agile Scrum methodology
- Option to work a 9/80 work schedule (i.e., 9 hour days, then work 8 hours on first Friday and off the second Friday)
Qualifications
- Position requires US citizenship and an active Secret DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4-7 years of software development testing experience
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing and/or software development
- Experience with implementing regression testing for software
- Experience performing "illity" testing, especially performance testing
- Familiarity and/or experience using automated test tools on software projects
- The ability to communicate effectively with the Product Owners and team members
- Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies.
