Part-Time Lecturer, Business

Job Description

The University of Idahos Department of Business seeks applications for a part-time non-tenure track lecturer in Business for Fall 2024. The temporary lecturer position is expected to teach part time (3-6 credits per semester) at the undergraduate level including one or more of the following courses:

  • Bus 190 Integrated Business and Value Creation
  • Fin 302 Intermediate Financial Management
  • Econ 453 Econometrics
  • OM 378 Project Management
  • OM 472 Enterprise Planning and Scheduling
  • Other business course offerings based on availability



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching undergraduate business or economics courses.
  • Evidence of teaching excellence as noted in application materials.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to teach any of the following:
    • Bus 190 Integrated Business and Value Creation
    • Fin 302 Intermediate Financial Management
    • Econ 453 Econometrics
    • OM 378 Project Management
    • OM 472 Enterprise Planning and Scheduling
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills with a flexible attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
