Software Engineer Mid
As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance to be considered.
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer - Mid-Level to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team. This role involves designing, coding, testing, and debugging software to support the integration and deployment of complex, enterprise-wide Imagery and Geospatial Intelligence Systems. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, contributing to mission-critical projects.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Software Engineer Mid: $125,000 to $215,000
- Pay commensurate with experience.
- Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Software Engineer Mid Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to design, code, and test software in a rapid development environment.
- Debug and integrate multi-threaded, distributed systems.
- Define and develop new features and system upgrades for enterprise-level Imagery and Geospatial Intelligence systems.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Software Engineer Mid Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience in software design, coding, and debugging across the development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Java Spring Boot.
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) and system maintainability.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
