Dispatch Clerk

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Dispatch Clerk will assist dispatchers in filing reports and requests. Compensation range is $19.50-$21.50/hr depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Input repair information into Eagle system
  • Coordinate and schedule repairs with vendors
  • Scan documents and reports into Eagle system
  • Prepare weekly invoices for approval by General Manager, Senior Planner, or Senior Vice President of Hauling
  • Research and identify repair issues based on dispatcher's reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of company software
  • Organization skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Required Education and Experience:

  • Required: High school diploma or GED

Working Conditions:

  • Strictly office environment
  • 90-95% sitting down
  • Computer use is prevalent, along with telephone
  • Working hours Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
