Dispatch Clerk
Job Description
Job Summary:
The Dispatch Clerk will assist dispatchers in filing reports and requests. Compensation range is $19.50-$21.50/hr depending on experience.
Essential Duties and Functions:
- Input repair information into Eagle system
- Coordinate and schedule repairs with vendors
- Scan documents and reports into Eagle system
- Prepare weekly invoices for approval by General Manager, Senior Planner, or Senior Vice President of Hauling
- Research and identify repair issues based on dispatcher's reports
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of company software
- Organization skills
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Required Education and Experience:
- Required: High school diploma or GED
Working Conditions:
- Strictly office environment
- 90-95% sitting down
- Computer use is prevalent, along with telephone
- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
