Concessions Food Service Assistant - Adjunct

Summary of Position

  • Under supervision of designated supervisor, perform a variety of tasks related to the production and service of food and beverage items; ensure positive guest service in designated area, and maintain standards of cleanliness and safety. 
  • Properly record all transactions via the point of sale system. 
  • Serve food and beverage items in correct portions. 
  • Interact with customers/guests in a pleasant and professional manner. 
  • Acquaint guests with items for sale and use suggestive selling techniques. 
  • Participate in set-up of stand, arranging inventory; notify supervisor of any inventory deficiency. 
  • Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area including cleaning and storing the equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School graduation or equivalent. 
  • The ability to understand basic written and verbal instructions and to follow direction. 
  • The ability to cooperate and positively interact with co-workers. 
  • Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform assigned duties and responsibilities. 
  • The ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Serve-Safe Certification 
Outstanding customer services skills 
Basic knowledge of food preparation

Physical Demands

This position requires stopping and lifting, substantial standing and walking.
