Position Summary

The full-time History Instructor reports directly to the Chair of the Social Sciences Division and ultimately to the Dean of Instruction in the performance of various duties. These duties require a minimum of 35 hours of on-campus work per week and include the following kinds of responsibilities: instructional duties, duties to students, divisional duties, institutional duties, and personal and professional development activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provision of syllabi explaining course objectives, content and procedures
• Periodic review and revision of course syllabi, materials and methods
• Preparation for each class session.
• Applicants will teach courses in American History, Western Civilization, and/or World History.
