Visiting Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering

Job Description

The Hope College Engineering Department invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering, full-time teaching position on a 9 month contract to begin August 2024. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, providing individual instruction during office hours, and preparing, administering and grading examinations.

Qualifications

Candidates should have either a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.

Physical Demands

This position requires remaining in a sitting or standing position for frequent periods of time; uses office machinery such as a computers, printers, copy machines; Occasionally involves moving items over 10 pounds; frequently will move between different offices/workspaces/buildings; and requires effective communication abilities. In the case of temporary or permanent condition(s) that require(s) accommodation(s), reasonable accommodation(s) may be requested.
