*Description*Job Title: Supply Chain Data Specialist
**Location:** Remote (PST), local candidates preferred.
**Department:** Procurement Operations
**Job Type:** Non-Exempt, Temporary (Backfill for an employee currently out, with potential for extension)
**Job Summary:**
The Supply Chain Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Lawson database, including managing taxable status of products, correct unit of measure, and item additions. The role involves significant interaction with master data, assisting with backorders, and coordinating with clinicians for consent on replacements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Procurement Operations:** Support procurement activities, ensuring contract compliance, and assisting with backorders.
- **Master Data Management:** Maintain and update the MMIS database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- **Customer Service:** Communicate effectively with peers, customers, and suppliers, providing excellent service and support.
- **Quality Assurance:** Perform functions using best practices, convert requested items to contracted items, and assist with audits.
- **Technical Skills:** Conduct research, assist with data collection and analysis, and resolve GHX exceptions.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** No degree required, but preferred. Relevant experience in supplies, supplier, or healthcare is advantageous.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2+ years in a similar role, with some experience in healthcare.
- **Skills:**
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret data patterns and trends.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with Workday is a plus; EPIC experience is not required but beneficial.
- **Other Requirements:**
- Ability to work remotely (PST).
- Interviews starting the first week of December.
**Physical Demands:**
- Primarily a desk job with continuous sitting, keyboarding, and mousing.
- Occasional fine manipulation, gripping, and reaching below shoulder level.
